In the bodybuilding community many people are used to following a meal plan. It’ll says eat 5oz salmon with 200g rice. It supplies the macronutrients of protein, fat, and carbs and that it the only thing that touches your plate. But what about the micronutrients? The antioxidants and phytonutrients, the fibre and prebiotics? Food is so powerful yet it doesn't get the credit it deserves! A bodybuilder will tell you that the secret to getting big is eating big; and they are absolutely correct! Food has the power to heal, grow, and recover every cell in the body! So next time you’re setting your plate, ask yourself; have I supplied everything my body deserves on this plate?
