Do you use a Natural Shampoo & Conditioner?

Do you use a natural shampoo & conditioner?

I put up a poll the other day asking how many of you use a Natural Shampoo & Conditioner. I was pleased to see that 32% actually DO but unfortunately (yet not surprisingly) 68% do NOT. Many of you don't care if your hair products contain Sulfates, Propylene Glycol, Parabens, Silicone, if they are Environmentally Friendly or Tested on Animals; but some of us feel the difference! Maybe you don't care because you don’t know what these ingredients do to the hair; the majority of all of them coat the strands with a waxy gloss making them appear and feel silky smooth or they create lather and shine. Sounds great; but they create more and more build up which causes breakage and damage (sulfates can corrode and damage the hair follicles, which can leads to hair thinning and loss). Ever notice how babies have whispy lightweight hair? It’s so pure and soft… yeah, they haven't had years of build up, chemicals, and heat applied to their hair yet! Blow dryers, diffusers, curling irons and straightening irons are NOT the devil - when they are applied to hair that has build up plastered on it, then they are. What’s your favourite natural shampoo & conditioner and do you ever plan on making the switch?
